Abstract
• Maasin MPS was sieged by the members of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) on June 18, 2017, where members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on duty were robbed of their service firearms, cellphones, money and were held captives by the group for half an hour.
• Qualitative research was used in the study through Case Study Method employing triangulation in data gathering. Documentary Analysis and Interview are the methods used to obtain relevant data for the study.
• Human, technological and physical resources are essential elements in the operation of a police station. These affect the capability of the station to respond in any emergencies.
• Strengthened community support and involvement is vital in crime prevention. Capacitating the residents on what measures to take especially during emergency situations and educating and involving them for intelligence support network will help in confronting peace and security.
