Abstract
Through Presidential Decree No. 86, which mandates or orders the division of each district or block within the town, Barangay Poblacion I was thereby created. Barangay Poblacion I covers the streets of J.P. Rizal St., M.H. Del Pilar, and E. Gonzalez St. The barangay also covers the Infant Jesus Academy, established in 1945 and led by Father Michael Donoher, a priest. In 1979, the streets were cemented with the help of barangay residents who wielded shovels and worked on cementing. In the year 1990, the Father Michael Donoher Memorial School was established, and priests and nuns also managed it.
This area study generally aims to identify the threats to public safety and security of Barangay Poblacion 1, Silang, Cavite based on situational analysis of BEST LEAPS
Specifically, this area study also aims to answer the following questions:
1. What is the profile of Poblacion I based on BEST LEAPS-H?
2. How are threats to public safety and security of Poblacion I identified according to BEST LEAPS-H based on descriptive analysis?
3. What action plan can be formulated that address the threats identified in this area study?
