Description
As our public safety officers face the day to day challenges of threat, danger, hazards and uncertainties in performing their sworn duties, the greatest challenge is the fear of the unknown. That is why our job at NPC is to teach what they need to know as they made the most difficult, timely and relevant decisions as leaders and managers by ensuring the smooth delivery of services for their optimum learning anytime, anywhere and in whatever situation they are in. We are referring to the accessibility, applicable and affordable technology that will generate the potentials of our learners.

This issue of NPC Mid-Year Milestone Report entitled " NPC: Pathways for Public Safety Leadership and Governance" chronicles the semi-annual accomplishment of the National Police College from january to June 2021 with the strategic goal "ACCELERATE" indicators. In this magazine, we look back at the different milestone and lessons learned to help us reap the gains, maintain the momentum and widen our futures thinking.

Various virtual and face-to-face activities, academic and non-academic of MPSA, MCDRM, PSOSEC, PSOAC and PSOBC students including the several KAPIHAN Webinars that has been adopted by many classes are featured in all NPC Campuses Nationwide. This is the result of the upgrading of digital infrastructure, upgrading internet connectivity especially in distant campuses like Magalang, Cebu, Davao and Zamboanga. All these are gearing up for any eventualities for the blended and flexible learning systems.

Moving forward, we continue to provide the best education and training to hone holistic public safety officers possessing not only a mindset of securitization but also socialization and synergy! Dr. Romeo S. Magsalos, MPSA (NPC Director)
