The research study focused on the upland municipalities of the Province of Ilocos Sur particularly in the Municipality of Gregorio H Del Pilar. The study determined the extent of capability of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) - Gregorio H Del Pilar Fire Station in the delivery of fire protection services, with emphasis on fire equipment, fire trucks and service roads which affects the efficiency and effectiveness during response on fire and other related emergencies. The study aims to (1) identify the factors affecting the efficiency of the fire service in the Upland Municipality of Gregorio Del Pilar, Ilocos Sur; (2) determine the challenges encountered in the delivery of fire protection services in terms of fire equipment, fire trucks and service roads; (3) provide recommendations in order to address these pressing concerns.
