Abstract
ABSTRACT

This study primarily aims to resolve conflicts on inter-generational differences related to adoption of practices in Naval Fire Station, Naval Biliran Province. Action research design was used in the Study. This study was participated by 26 personnel of the Naval Fire Station.

The researchers believed that there are existing conflicts in the fire stations due to age differences; an inter-generational problem in the workplace, which creates an impact in the workforce, and in the organization as a whole.

Coming up with this action research, the researchers opted to utilize the three methods of inquiry. First, using the ladder of inference through personal point of view of the problem (First Person Inquiry); the second, using collaborators to gain validation of the problem as the Second Person Inquiry; and the third, using impersonal context as the Third Person Inquiry. In which way, the researchers could analyze the context of the problem, with hopes to resolve these conflicts on inter-generational differences.
