ABSTRACT

The intention of the study was to improve the implementation of Oplan Ligtas Na Pamayanan, for effective fire prevention in contemporary times. In order to gauge the implementation, recipients must be surveyed in connection with the awareness and knowledge they have concerning Oplan Ligtas Na Pamayanan. The rubric questionnaire was formulated and take 31 respondents from four barangays, wherein the raw data was treated statistically using Mean and Analysis of Variance. The result showed that the level of awareness of the community in the Municipality of Baganga, Davao Oriental concerning Oplan Ligtas Na Pamayanan is low and there is a significant difference on the level of awareness of the community concerning Oplan Ligtas Na Pamayanan. The result means that the implementation of Oplan Ligtas Na Pamayanan is low, and raising the awareness level of the community in the municipality of Baganga is one of the main ways of efficient implementation of Oplan Ligtas Na Pamayanan. The implication of this study is to always evaluate the result or the outcome of any implementation; its effectiveness can be seen on the success of the of the individuals involved in the implemented program.
