The significance of the study would be to address the dejected plight of barangay tanonds in terms of low compensation and lack of benefits. The data of this action research were gathered through the utilization of Net Present Value (NPV) and Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR). The results of the study revealed, in terms of that the socio-demographic profile of barangay tanods in Davao City, that majority of them are 55 years old and above, male, married, high school undergraduate, have 1 to 3 years of service as barangay tanod, and have undergone 1 to 3 training.
