This Local Area Public Safety-Security Study (LAPSSS) report served as an exploratory guidebook and a systematic tool which contains a collective of information, data, and features about the City of Iligan. This study specifically aims:
1. To identify the key external and internal factors that should be taken into account in assessing the local area of lligan City in terms of its Public safety and security aspects;
2. To provide a detailed framework and broad description of the overall area of lligan City for the purpose of generating an effective strategic planning, decision-making and action planning to counter dilemmas and concerns within the community; and
3. To give emphasis to the socio-spatial paradigms, social realities and the emerging challenges and concerns relating to public safety and security present in the City of lligan.
