Abstract
This study examined the dynamics of organizational support experienced by uniformed personnel facing service-related cases in Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A). Using a quantitative descriptive design supplemented with qualitative insights, data were gathered from 112 police personnel and 20 key officers across Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion from 2020 to 2025. The study assessed four major dimensions of organizational support: internal procedural justice, legal assistance programs, peer and supervisor support, and welfare and benefit programs.

Findings revealed that the majority of cases filed were administrative in nature and concentrated among mid-career Police Non-Commissioned Officers, particularly Master Sergeants and Staff Sergeants, assigned mostly in Cavite and Batangas. Respondents strongly agreed that procedural rights were respected, legal aid was accessible, and welfare benefits were maintained, though gaps remained in timeliness of legal services, supervisor communication, and psychological support. Peer support emerged as the strongest dimension, while counseling services were least rated. No significant differences were found across respondent groups, suggesting consistent perceptions of support. The study concludes that while organizational support systems exist, challenges in responsiveness, communication, and resource accessibility persist. An evidence-based action plan is proposed to strengthen institutional mechanisms, ensuring accountability while safeguarding the welfare of personnel, thereby upholding the principle of “protecting the protectors.”
