Firefighting capabilities are essential for protecting human life, preserving property,
preventing environmental damage, and promoting economic stability. It is important that
communities invest in strong firefighting capabilities to ensure that they are prepared to
respond to emergencies and protect their residents.
The researchers main objectives for conducting the study in Mauban Fire Station
are: to determine the capabilities of the fire station along  number of training attended,
experience in the field of operations; and number of personnel with skills and training;
identify areas for improvement along with firefighting operations; and determine factors
needed for their capabilities. The researchers used questionnaires as the instrument of this
study. 
The study’s results revealed that the ratings given by the respondents suggest that
the number of training attended, experience in the field of operations, and the number of
personnel with skills and training are below satisfactory levels. Mauban Fire Station
should focus on increasing the number of trainings attended, improving the skills and
training of personnel, and providing more experience in the field of operations. The
factors needed to improve the fire station's capability include adequate financial support,
continuous training and education for personnel, risk assessment and planning, and
procurement of modern firefighting equipment.
The researchers propose that Mauban Fire Station prioritize the continuous
training and education of its personnel to improve their skills and knowledge in
firefighting operations, and invest in modern firefighting equipment. Mauban Fire Station
should also conduct regular risk assessments and develop emergency plans.
