Abstract
This Public Safety and Security Study, entitled “Public Safety And Security Study on Peace and Order Situation of West Grace Park, Caloocan City”, examines the challenges faced by local authorities and communities, the opportunities for improvement, and the strategies that can be implemented to foster long-term stability and security. The study evaluates the roles of local government units (LGUs), barangay officials, law enforcement agencies, and residents in maintaining peace, as well as identifying areas for intervention and strengthening partnerships.

Utilizing the BEST LEAPS framework enables a thorough examination of the complex factors impacting peace and order in the area, ultimately informing the development of effective strategies to address existing challenges.

The 2nd District of Caloocan City faces several challenges, particularly in the areas of traffic congestion, flooding, crime and public safety, insufficient public infrastructure, poverty, unemployment, health services, waste management, environmental concern and informal settlements. These issues affect both residents and businesses in the area and addressing them is crucial for improving the quality of life and ensuring the city's continued development. These issues require urgent and continuous action to be effectively addressed.

The study emphasizes the need to address the multifaceted challenges, particularly the rising crime rates. Criminal activities in the area can hinder the city's development and result in significant financial losses for local businesses. Additionally, the people residing within the area face safety risks, undermining their sense of security.

West Grace Park Police Sub-Station is positioned to serve the needs of the local population, ensuring that police presence is accessible in an area that might have faced challenges like increasing crime or public order issues. Making the law enforcement more responsive to the needs of each neighborhood is crucial in broader trend of addressing local safety and increasing accessibility to police services.

Further, the study concludes with a strong call for a comprehensive action plan to address critical issues facing the community under West Grace Park Police Sub-Station. Integrating the key areas with a focus on sustainable and long-term solutions is imperative.
