Abstract
The Local Area Public Safety-Security Study (LAPSSS) Report is a strategical approach with the primary goal of raising awareness and familiarity particularly at Sto. Tomas City, Batangas. Anchored in the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the Philippine National Police, the PSOBC CL 2021-13 Group 2 desires to understand the current situation, their present issues and concerns, and be able to address and find solutions and recommendations likewise, in order to achieve the following objectives:
• To present the community mapping and public safety concerns of Sto. Tomas City, Batangas;
• This study will seek to bridge gaps and promote healthier family relationships in the community;
• To build a reciprocated mutual affiliation between the community and the Police;
• To improve community participation by reaching out to vulnerable sectors of the community;
• Coordinating and working harmoniously with governmental bodies and concerned individuals; and
• To focus our efforts on existing community issues. This class must determine the community's needs and create programs to address those needs.
