Abstract
ABSTRACT
The Action Research entitled, “Realigning Job Description and Designation of Personnel in the Station Level of BFP Region IV-A to the Existing Functions of the BFP through Standardization” aimed to analyze and evaluate the current problems and issues pertaining to the job descriptions and designations of BFP Region IV-A personnel in the station level.
The researchers observed that the designations and job descriptions in the station level of BFP Region IV-A are not standard hence there is a role confusion in the performance of the job, which resulted in the duplication and/or overlapping of jobs, decrease in role clarity, increase in job tension, difficulty in programming appropriate trainings and even decrease in the personnel’s job satisfaction and performance.
The three methods of inquiry will be used to ensure the effectiveness of the action research. With the practical application of these inquiries, we will able to generate significant and relevant statements from the collaborators which are part of the results of this action paper.
The researchers intend to recommend the development of designations that will come out with specific responsibilities and duties for the personnel within the station level to overcome the challenges relative to the overlap of job functions and other related issues.
