Abstract
Today, there were numerous conversations and rules on the issue on the transition of the Philippines to building “Safe Philippines Project” (which means cities or communities that presented keen innovation for a smarter and safer city) from the point of view of TAM approach. Although there is an important technology aspect, smart cities are about far more as we’ll see further. One can even debate about the meaning of smart, certainly within the incredibly complex and holistic reality of smart cities where in the end it’s about meeting the needs of citizens and solving challenges of people, society and urban communities. This paper will indulge in the essential aspects more than the technological advancement by equally looking at different factors that can sustain the project for longer uears such as the participation of Filipinos since it will play a significant role. In this study, it showed how “Safe Philippines Project” can revolutionize the security system of the Philippines at the same time strengthening the foundation of the policies using TAM.
