The Philippine National Police and its disciplinary mechanism plays an important role in instilling discipline among its personnel. The creation of the Philippine National Police Internal Affairs Service (PNP-IAS) Desk is part of the PNP’s internal cleansing program where misbehavior, misdemeanor, misconduct, irregularities, negligence, infractions, and involvement in illegal activities can be easily monitored, processed, and adjudicated. This study aims to assess the level of compliance in the implementation on the creation of IAS Desk at the station level. The researchers believe that there are problems in the compliance and there are rooms for the improvement of the policy through the application of 5 Cs protocols. This study is an explanatory sequential mixed method utilizing key informant review and administration of validated survey questionnaire. For the qualitative, the participants of the study were five key informants who are civilians and six police officers from Laguna and Cavite provinces. The quantitative utilized 150 Chiefs of Police and a focal person as the respondents who voluntarily answered the survey questionnaire. The study concluded that the policy should be sustained and that there is a need to establish a Reviewing Committee and Technical Working Group for the creation of an addendum to PNP MC No. 2021-166.
