Abstract
Citizens, communities, and the nation as a whole are all impacted by public safety. The concept underlies various public policy decisions and regulations, as well as several of the decisions we make in our daily lives. It may be simpler to characterize public safety in terms of what occurs when its lacking. Picture your day, life, work, or community in the absence of public safety. For example, a lack of public safety may mean that the highway flyover near your house is unsafe to drive on, the nearby park is overrun with used needles and other hazardous rubbish or the water flowing out of the tap is contaminated.

To address the growing problems in public safety, trustworthy public institutions and organizations may use their claim insights to better handle potential problems or threats in the future. They optimize their internal structures and carefully balance the expenses and advantages of their policies.

The National Police College honors its commitment to the Philippine Public Safety College's vision and objectives. It demonstrates its service toward excellence characterized by continuing search for truth, responsiveness, collaboration and concern with the public, allowing connection with the communities we serve.

As Public Safety Officers Basic Course students, we must be equipped with the basic cognitive understanding, policing skills and proper officer perceptions and attitude, as well as oriented with the relating duties and responsibilities, to ensure that we have a thorough understanding of what Public Safety entails.

Our group chose the area of Quezon City, specifically the Barangay Paltok which has seen changes in governance, economic management, and basic service delivery in recent years, as presented in the Demographic and Social Development Profile, which discusses sub-sectors on Population, the Status of Being, which includes Health, Education, Social Welfare Services, and Public Service.

Local Area Public Safety Security Study (LAPSSS) was made feasible in this area by using research as a tool for policy creation and a strategy for addressing problems and attaining solutions. It used both quantitative and qualitative methods to comprehend and analyze key data from the student researchers' chosen community.
