Abstract
ABSTRACT
Improving Fire Marshals projects and program accomplishment given their limited two (2) year’s tour of duty in their respective area of responsibility (AOR) is a challenge among all Fire Marshals. By virtue of Memorandum Circular Numbers 2020-026 and 2019-002 dated August 18, 2020 and March 11, 2019 respectively, for they were mandated to have a maximum of two (2) year’s tour of duty within a specified city or municipality to render there services and they will be mandatorily be transferred or reassigned thereafter.
This study integrates the framework Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) Cycle in the Action Research Cycle, Ladder of Inference, ORJI cycle, Meta Cycle of Inquiry in relation to Lewin’s Model of Change to develop a holistic model to explain the intention improving projects and program accomplishment of Fire Marshals in the Province of Pangasinan.
The researchers conducted subjective data gathering through questionnaires among 45 respondents and collaborators in the Province of Pangasinan. Data reveals that a continuing plan must be prepared by both the outgoing and incoming Fire Marshals in order to keep track of the project and program accomplishment of the former, dialogues and symposium with the community and that of their local counterparts is also encourage to build rapport with them and to assessed the necessary and important needs of the community in terms of BFP projects and programs.
