ABSTRACT

This action research aimed to determine the investigative knowledge and skills of Region 12 BFP Investigators. Presently, the difficulty and lack of knowledge in gathering evidence by some fire arson investigators prevents them from getting the proper evidence and gives them difficulty in making investigation reports. Collaboration with the Fire Arson Investigators in South Cotabato and the Regional Office XII through email correspondence and information documents in all four steps of the action research cycle: constructing, planning, taking action, and evaluating action. The Regional Office XII has not conducted mandatory training for Fire Arson Investigators

The Fire Arson Investigators and the BFP Regional Office XII agreed that Fire Arson Investigation Operations Course (FAIOC) should be conducted for their career advancement. Through collaborative effort, Regional Office plans to conduct the FAIOC by the year ends.
