Abstract
The study centered on the determination of the implementation of the Cadetship Program of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) in the context of Student Centered Effective Learning Framework (SCELF) and the challenges encountered by PNPA in the conduct of the Cadetship Program. Utilizing the combination of quantitative and qualitative, the results showed that the Academy obtained a high rating on all the variables of the SCELF in terms of learning strategy, role, assessments, and the environment through the viewpoint of the faculty, instructors, tactical officers, and the graduates. Results of the focus group discussion revealed 109 challenges in implementing the cadetship program. The identified challenges are to be endorsed to the Academy for the review and appreciation.
