Abstract
The evaluated the effectiveness of the PNP anti-illegal drugs campaign of the Pampanga Police Office among it youths. Specifically, this study determine how the stakeholders perceive the PNP anti-illegal drug campaign in the self-development of the youth inn Pampanga implementers, and the community people; identified the challenge encountered by the PNP implementers and the recommendation of the stakeholders on the Pampanga PPO anti-illegal drugs campaign programs; and proposed an action plan to address the issue identified in the study.
The study was conducted in Pampanga Province from June 2020 to January 2023. There were 247 purposively selected youth respondent and 271 implementers and stakeholder respondent. A structured survey questionnaire was utilize the study in addition with interviews, and focus group discussion.
The result show that the respondent perceive the campaign activities were effectiveness in influencing the overall self-development of the youth. With regards to illegal drugs, the campaign was effectiveness in influencing the knowledge of the youth, effective in causing positive change of practice among the youth, and effective in the development and improvement of the skills of the youth. The Pampanga anti-illegal drug campaign program and activities also had a positive perception among most of the respondents and stakeholders. It was therefore recommended that the anti-illegal drug campaign for the youth in Pampanga be institutionalized for it to be maintained and sustained despite any challenge faced.
