Abstract
KEY POINTS:

• The Annual Strawberry Festival in La Trinidad, Benguet, attracts large crowds, necessitating effective traffic management to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists, reduce accidents, minimize disruptions to nearby households, enhance the festival experience, and maintain swift emergency response and positive community relations.

• Amidst the lively celebrations and flood of visitors, the strawberry festival presents many obstacles, including traffic congestion disturbing neighboring homes, the town’s inadequate road system unable to handle the volume of cars and pedestrians, enforcement issues in crowded areas, and restricted access to public transportation for those with disabilities or who depend on it.

• Establish designated parking areas close to the festival venue, provide shuttle services, employ creative technology-enhanced enforcement tactics, from community partnerships, and start public awareness campaigns in order to reduce traffic congestion and guarantee compliance with the law.
