ABSTRACT

The primary purpose of this study was to suggest the improvement of the Implementation of Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan (OLP) in the Municipality of Allacapan and state the Plan of Action for its development. Specifically, it aimed to identify issues and problems and necessary actions in the implementations of the OLP and propose action plans on the identified issues to improve its implementation in the Municipality especially in the remote areas. As the BFP capitalized in the strong engagement and cooperation from the communities the issues and problems identified from the interview and the study that gripped in the implementation were used in the crafting of proposed action plan so that the flagship fire prevention program will be embraced fully by the communities in Allacapan, and all the programs and lined activities as it is found effective with its primary purpose to secure the safety of the public. In the light of the respondents’ perceptions, it was noted that they agreed that Undefined compensation/ benefits for the members of CFAG in case they respond or meet some accident during the performance of duty is regarded as a very serious problem.
