ABSTRACT
This Action Research is about Developing an Online Appointment and Scheduling System for the Administrative Division of BFP Region 3. Its objectives are to Identify services provided by BFP Regional Administrative Division; Describe the challenges encountered by BFP personnel in requesting intended services; Describe the challenges encountered by BFP personnel providing administrative services; Explore possible online solutions in developing an online appointment and scheduling system for BFP personnel; and Provide a venue for BFP personnel assigned in administrative division where they can reply to inquiries and attend to the documentary needs of BFP personnel in the field and Develop an online appointment and scheduling system for BFP Region 3 Admin Division.
The collaborators are the officers and personnel assigned in the administrative division. The researchers utilized Ladder of Inference, Design Thinking and Meta-Learning Process to complete the study. Through the insights, inputs, cooperation, knowledge and participation of our collaborators we were able to develop a dashboard design for the online scheduling and appointment system for BFP R3.
At the end of the study, we have discussed what we have learned from our collaborators and from our own experiences. We hope that the development of an online appointment and scheduling system for BFP R3 will improve the process of providing services to BFP personnel and clients and become an efficient tool for office management. The online appointment and scheduling system will be developed via PICKTIME, a free online appointment scheduling software with reporting, customer & team management. The dashboard lists the services offered by the Administrative Division and the corresponding available time for scheduling. Available slots will be shown daily in exception of Saturday and Sunday. The online appointment and scheduling system will be launched online through the use of website such as Google and Microsoft Edge.
