Abstract
Introduction
This case study is about installation of designation of Female Police as Customers Relations Officers (CRO) In Cubao Police Station 7. Quezon City Police District to effectively address the expectations of the public in terms of customer service.
The gap is how can the CRO effectively deliver of the basic services at the complaints desks because despite numerous efforts and initiatives undertaken, the front line service providers fail to satisfy the expectations of the public in terms of customer service.
The Female Customer Relations Officers (CRO) was implemented in Cubao Police Station 7. Quezon City Police District, although experimental in nature. The then NCRPO Regional Director, PMGEN EDGAR ALAN OKUBO planned to remove male police officers as Quality Service Desk Officers and replace them with WPS as Customer Relations Officers.
The instructions were made due to the reported bad feedback about the policemen currently manning the front desk and replace them with policewomen as CRO. Since women are considered more patient and sympathetic. In addition, female officers have patience in listening to the complainants of the public or stakeholders.
But Okubo explained that the changes would still be experimental and applied to only 45 police stations in the five police districts under NCRPO'S command-16 in the Quezon City Police District, 14 in the Manila Police District, seven in the Southern Police District, and four each in the Northern and Eastern districts.

PMGEN OKUBO directed the Station Commanders from QCPD and MPD and Chiefs of Police of NPD, EPD, and SPD to designate CRO. RCADD, NCRPO conducted a crash course for the women in police service (WPS) about their job's description as CRO. PLTCOL ALMAQUER, SC. PS7 instructed the Station Admin Branch to re-echo the conducted crash course to their WPS. Then, he issued detailed order to WPS, in addition to their duties and responsibilities, to act as CRO for 4 hours every day. The CRO is activated for 24 hours. The WPS of Cubao PS 7 is on a rotational basis to assist their clients not to mention those who are filing complaints, applying for police clearance, updating PNP pensions, and other concerns.
Cubao Police Station has recently implemented a new initiative to strengthen their relationship with the community. The initiative involves the installation of CROS in the Cubao police station. These officers are dedicated to providing a better understanding of the police station's operations and are tasked with improving the community's relationship with the police. This initiative has been welcomed by the community and is seen as a positive step towards improving the safety and security of the area. The CROs are committed to providing a positive experience for all visitors to the police station and are determined to win the heart of the community.
